Years of field experience, at the consulting desk.

Our team are engineers and technicians who have spent many years in heavy industry and have worked and consulted in mining, paper and food plants. We offer this experience across the whole life of a plant: feasibility and design, installation and commissioning, operation, maintenance and revision.

30years

Consulting and implementation in one team.

With 30 years of field experience we analyse process operation, efficiency and production losses on main and utility lines, and define the scope of investment and revision projects. After the consulting work, the same team can carry out the implementation, commissioning and training you need.

Consulting topics

Depending on the needs of the plant, we work on a single topic or on several together. Every job ends with a written deliverable.

  • Root-Cause Analysis

When the same fault keeps stopping production

We review stoppage records, alarm history and the equipment on site together, and find the real cause of the fault rather than its symptom. Then we reorganise the maintenance plan and spare-parts strategy around it.

Deliverable: Root-cause report and preventive maintenance proposals

  • Assessment & Feasibility

Before a renewal or revision decision

We assess the existing electrical and automation infrastructure on site and set out what can be kept, what needs renewing and in which order the work should be done.

Deliverable: Assessment report, scope and a prioritised roadmap

  • Acceptance Testing & Technical Inspection

When another contractor builds the new line or revision

We work for you as the owner of the investment: we prepare the test protocols, attend factory (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT), and independently verify loop and function checks against the contractor’s work.

Deliverable: Signed test protocols and a punch list

  • Control System Review

When operators cannot keep up with alarms or interlocks are tangled

We review the PLC and SCADA architecture, alarm management, interlock and safety logic and the reporting structure, and present simplification and improvement proposals in order of priority.

Deliverable: Review report and a prioritised improvement list

  • Process & Efficiency Consulting

To reduce production or energy losses

We review operating parameters on production and utility lines and trace efficiency and energy losses to their source by measuring them. We propose practical improvements that suit the process.

Deliverable: Loss analysis and improvement proposals

How a consulting job runs

  1. First meeting

We clarify the problem, the goal and the constraints of the plant together.

  2. Site visit

We see the plant in person and review equipment, software and operating data.

  3. Report and roadmap

We share the findings and prioritised recommendations in writing.

  4. Implementation or follow-up

We can carry out the work ourselves, or support your team with technical inspection and training.

Ways of working

  • Site visit

    A one-off on-site review and a findings report.

  • Periodic follow-up

Regular site visits and tracking of improvements.

  • Throughout the project

Continuous technical consulting during an investment or revision.

Training

All training is hands-on and runs on your plant's own equipment and software, on site or in the classroom. Content and duration are agreed together around the participants' needs.

  • PLC and Fault Finding

    Who it is for
    Maintenance electricians and technicians
    Content
PLC hardware and I/O, monitoring the program online, finding common faults on site
  • HMI & SCADA Operator Training

    Who it is for
    Control room operators
    Content
Screen structure, responding to alarms correctly, reading trends and reports
  • Process and Efficiency Tracking

    Who it is for
    Process and production teams
    Content
Process basics, measuring losses, tracking efficiency indicators
  • Commissioning and Test Discipline

    Who it is for
    Project and maintenance engineers
    Content
Test protocols, loop and function checklists, records and handover

We plan the project and commission it on site.

In the first meeting we clarify the scope; then we share the quotation, work plan and commissioning schedule.
